Enjoy kayaking and swimming in crystal-clear water surrounded by towering limestone mountains – an idyllic escape far from the crowds.

17:00 – 17:30 Orchid Cruises anchors for an overnight stay in Tra Bau, Lan Ha Bay, offering a serene landscape to immerse yourself in the bay’s natural beauty.

18:00 – 18:15 Onboard you may join a cooking demonstration and enjoy the Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while watching the view of the bay at sunset.

21:00 – 21:30 It’s time to admire the beauty of the night on the bay, our bar on the sundeck, and in the restaurant welcome you. You may want to try your luck with squid fishing or watching a movie in the restaurant, we also have chess and cards for you.

23:00 Overnight on board.

06:00 – 06:30 It is a perfect time to refresh and indulge yourself in the peaceful beauty of the bay with a tai chi session on the sundeck. If you want to hunt for dawn, get up from 5:30 to 6:00 depending on the season, and consult our sailors.

06:45 – 07:00 We will have breakfast at the restaurant while continuing the cruise.

07:15 – 07:30 We progressed to Trung Trang cave by bus on Cat Ba Island which is in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao Forest around the cave.

Trung Trang cave located in Trung Trang Valley, which is 15km away from the northwest of Cat Ba town. The cave is 300m long through the mountain, possessing a mysterious beauty due to the geological tectonics in millions of years along with many historical vestiges. The cave has many stalactites with different shapes that stimulate human imagination and amaze visitors.

09:45 – 10:00 Orchid Cruises welcomes you back on board and it is time for checking out.

10:00 – 10:30 Enjoy a delightful brunch at our restaurant.

11:00 – 11:30 Disembark Orchid Cruises at Tuan Chau Marina, say best wishes and end your cruise with us.

06:00 – 06:30 The day starts early onboard Orchid Cruises with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. The breakfast is served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape, then continue our journey.

06:45 – 07:00 We will have breakfast at the restaurant while continuing the cruise.

07:45 – 08:00 Transfer to day-boat to visit Viet Hai village. You will take the bicycle trip along the village path and go through rain forests and dark tunnels. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo… you will have a chance to see the local life on a valley of local people.

Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).

Back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay. Lunch will be served on day boat.

13:30 – 14:00 Visit Ba Men Temple a peaceful body of water has beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place for scenic kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach

16:00 – 16:30 Return to Orchid Cruises. Guests may join a cooking class, enjoy the Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while watching the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

On your departure day, our driver will be ready at International Noi Bai Airport, holding a name board with your name on it, welcoming and then transferring you to Boss Legend Hotel to do check-in.

You will have the rest of your day to explore Hanoi and relax at the hotel before cruising.

9:45 – 10:00 AM: You will be collected from Hanoi Old Quarter to take the highway to Dinh Vu Port, Haiphong where we arrive at around 11h30. You can take special tea at Orchid Cruise’s lounge by warm welcome.

12h00 PM: Transfer by tender to the ORCHID CRUISE. On the way to the main boat, you will have a chance to see Cai Trap canal.

12h15 PM: We welcome our guests on board the ORCHID CRUISE and then check in, enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

12h40 PM: ORCHID CRUISE proceeds to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. Have lunch while passing via the islets of Con Vit and Gia Luan. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via the Cat Ba Island – Thoi Quyt area – Coc Ngoi islet – through Cua Van to Ba Trai Dao area.

15:00 PM: We progress to Ba Trai Dao beach area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Halong Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam. The region is known for its pristine beaches and spectacular beauty, having about 400 fascinating islands. Unlike the main, Ha Long Bay, the islands of Lan Ha Bay are forested, and most are small in stature. You may prefer to try your hand at kayaking or simply just enjoy a swim. This is a great experience, immersed in the crystal clear waters of the bay, in the Ba Trai Dao area.

17h30 PM: Returning ORCHID CRUISE, you can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. On board you may join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. In the early evening the boat has its Happy Hour deal. Option: Massage service available. 09h30 AM: Visitors then return ORCHID CRUISE for check-out procedures.

10h00 AM: Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch.

11h35 AM: We return to the quay side in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark.

12h10 PM: We bid farewell at Dinh Vu port, this is the end of the program.

14h00 PM: Back to your drop-off point in Hanoi. End of the trip.

This tour helps you discover the ancient Hanoi old quarter throught tasting its authentic local street food From Nom (Vietnamese salad with beef), Pho (Beef noodle), Bun Cha (Vietnamese grilled pork with vemicelli) and end up with Ca Phe Trung – a blend of coffee and egg whites, folded with sugar. Seasonal Mixed Fruits is an option for who don’t "dare" to give Egg coffee a shot.

18:30 PM: The tour ends! Get back to your hotel by yourselves.
