Velar Cruise

8:00 – 8:30 You will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter Streets and transfer to Tuan Chau by stuttle bus ( If the transfer is booked with Velar Of The Seas Cruise )

Note: If guests do not stay at the hotel in the Old Quarter, our car will pick up at Hanoi Opera House – the final pickup point.

11:45 Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

11:45 – 12:30 Transfer by tender boat to Velar of the Seas Cruise.

12:30 The Cruise Maneger and crew member welcome you onboard with guiding information and a safety briefing.

13:15 Enjoy afabulous lunch in our restaurant. During lunch time, our cruise starts to sail through the magnificent Lan Ha Bay, a geological extension of Halong Bay which is less visited, less inhabited and therefore has the extra appeal of being a more peaceful place.

After lunchtime, you will have a short break before joining the first activity of the tour.

15:15 Visit Bright Cave by bamboo boat rowed by the local fishermen, a serene round lake surrounded by lush trees and high stone cliffs.

17:30 – 18:30 Enjoy the Sunset Party with fruits and snacks at Velar Sky Bar and Happy Hour will offer you a drink at an attractive price. Happy together, watching theSun falling into the sea will be unforgettable memories for every single traveler on board.

18:00 Our Vietnamese cooking demonstration is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and we will guide you through the process.

19:00 You can spoil yourself with a unique Signature Dinner in our distinctive restaurant.

20:30 It is now time to relax with an exotic cocktail and drink in the evening landscape. Our bar offers a wide range of wine, beer, and liqueurs and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day sailing on the Bay. You can order an indulgent spa service, watch movies, go squid fishing or simply relax on our rooftop deck under the cover of a brightly illuminated sky.

06:00 Greets first light of the day on Sundeck, warming up your body with Tai Chi lesson or enjoy an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you

06:30 Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)

07:15 – 08:15 Explore Lan Ha Bay by doing kayaking around Tra Bau Area. 

09:30 It time to back to Tuan Chau habour. Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early brunch and a last goodbye from our crew at 10:45 -11:00, you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.

11:45 – 12:00 Get into the shuttle bus for a return to Hanoi.

15:00 – 15.30 Drop off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (If the transfer is booked with Velar of the Seas cruise). End of services.

06:00 Be an early riser and attend healthy Tai Chi practice on the sundeck. Sunrise photography is awesome.

06:30 Enjoy breakfast in the restaurant.

08:00 You will join a day cruise and transfer to Viet Hai, a small village in the midst of jungles, covered by high mountains. The village is situated in the heart of Cat Ba National Park, which belongs to Cat Hai district of Hai Phong city.

10:00 Upon arrival, take a bike ride along the small path through the rain forests. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way,stop at the village to relax, and visit an ancient local house which is made from straw, mud, bamboo,… Arrive at Viet Hai, visit some local houses to learn about the culture, customs and daily life of the local people.

12:00 Back to the day cruise for a visit to Lan Ha Bay. Lunch will be served on board.

13:30 The cruise takes you to the pristine beach area – BaTrai Dao beach. This is the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay with nature amazing white sand, very quiet and fewer tourists, you are free to swim or participate in kayaking activity

14:45 Get on the day cruise for a transfer back and back to Velar of the Seas Cruise.

16:30 We return to Velar of the Sea Cruise and join some interesting activities such as cooking demonstration, sunset party and relax on the sundeck to catch the daily spectacular of a gorgeous panorama

After that, the captain will let the cruise stop a quiet area of the bay

19:00 A special dinner of fresh seafood and assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served

20:45 In the late evening, take your leisure time to chat at the bar, playing games,squid fishing, singing karaoke….
